I love to paint! It's my happy place...
My preferred medium is oil. My desire is that someone can just step into my painting and feel the peaceful calm it brought me to paint it. I laugh at my mistakes and find it challenging to make something better from them.
I'm so blessed to have grown up here in East Tennessee with the mountains and landscape. Much of my inspiration comes from the low country, water reflections, seascapes and shrimp boats.
Yet I also love to paint old churches with interesting steeples!
